Description
- Opening Date: "Profilo AVM" was opened in the year 1998.
- Location: It was situated in the Mecidiyeköy district on the European side of Istanbul.
- Architectural Design: It was designed under the leadership of Utarit İzgi, in collaboration with Belde Batum, Aysel, and Bahar Gücüyener.
- Area: Initially covering 75,000 square meters, it later expanded to serve on an area of 117,000 square meters with the addition of new living spaces.
- Content: "Profilo AVM" included 209 stores, 7 sports halls, 20-lane bowling and a 16-table billiards hall, three theaters, a sports club with a closed swimming pool on an area of 2200 square meters, and 43 different fast-food, cafes, and restaurants.
- Closure and Future Plans: Unfortunately, due to the bankruptcy of "Profilo AVM," the shopping center was permanently closed in October 2023 with plans to be demolished. There are plans to build a high-budget residential project in its place.
