Description
Yıldız Park, also known as Yıldız Groves, is a historical park located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul. Palanga Avenue, extending from the Bosphorus Bridge to Rumeli Hisarı, forms the northern and eastern boundaries, while Çırağan Avenue, stretching from Ortaköy to Beşiktaş, defines the southern limit. Additionally, there are two separate entrance gates, one on Palanga Avenue and the other on Çırağan Avenue.
Yıldız Park includes two magnificent palaces known as Malta Mansion and Kadir Mansion. Malta Mansion served as the summer residence of Sultan Abdulhamid II in the mid-19th century, while Kadir Mansion was used as a winter residence. Both palaces stand out with their unique artistic and architectural designs.
Yıldız Park is considered a tranquil sanctuary away from the city's hustle and bustle. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of its walking paths, relax on the grass or around small ponds. The park also provides stunning views of the Bosphorus.
